Terms of Service

SignalMark is operated by Wern Viljoen, trading as SignalMark, a sole trader based in South Africa. These terms apply whenever you buy a report from signalmark.co.uk or otherwise use the site.

SignalMark sells research reports on how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and similar tools) answer questions about a given industry: which brands get named, how often, and in what context. Reports are delivered as downloadable PDF documents. Continuous monitoring is a recurring service that re-runs your question set on a set interval for as long as the subscription is active.

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for every purchase made through this site. Lemon Squeezy is the seller you are contracting with for payment purposes: it handles billing, receipts, applicable sales tax or VAT, and card and payment data. By completing a purchase you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms & Conditions. SignalMark is responsible for producing and delivering the report itself.

Published reports are delivered as a downloadable PDF immediately after payment is confirmed. Custom or on-demand work (brand insights, competitor insights, gap analysis, source audits) is delivered within the turnaround stated on the report page or in writing at the time of order.

Reports are digital goods delivered on completion of payment, so we do not offer refunds once a report has been delivered, except where required by law. Lemon Squeezy may still independently issue a refund under its own buyer terms, including to prevent a chargeback; that is a decision made by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, not by SignalMark.

Buying a report gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own or your organisation's internal business purposes: research, strategy, and reporting to colleagues or clients you work for. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share a report outside your organisation without our written permission.

Findings reflect the answers AI assistants gave to our question set at the time we ran the research. Assistants update their models and sources on their own schedule, so an answer can change after a report is delivered. Reports describe what assistants said; they are not advice to buy, sell, or avoid any brand, and we make no guarantee about future rankings or business outcomes.

Don't use signalmark.co.uk to do anything unlawful, to attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or to disrupt the site or the service for other users.

The site and its reports are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, SignalMark's total liability arising from any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that report.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
